New Hope Church Cemetery

New Hope Church Cemetery is also known as Valley Church Cemetery and Living Faith Ministries Cemetery. It is located 0.5 mile north of SE 59th St on S. Henney Rd in SE Oklahoma County. The cemetery is on the west side of the road, on the north side of the Living Faith Ministries church building. The GPS coordinates are 352452N and 0971659W.

It is thought that early settlers from Illinois occupied the land in the mid-1800s. Soon, about two acres of land were set aside for a church and cemetery.

The tombstone of Claudius L. Haile (1874 - 1899), son of L. H. & M. L. Haile and another tombstone with an illegible name and a death date of 1899 are among the oldest tombstones. Windsor Hills Baptist Church became owner of the property 1 Dec 1980. An inscription on the concrete front porch reads, "Believer's Independent Baptist Church, Founded May 2, 1976, 42 members, Bruce Fry, Pastor."

Bill Harris purchased this Windsor Hills mission for New Hope Assembly Church 1 Oct 1986. This location was renamed Living Faith Ministries in 1995.

The New Hope Church Cemetery was transcribed in October 2010 by members of the OHCE Genealogy Group, Oklahoma County.
